BTS RM Around the world in a day MV Review: Behind the Scenes of Kim Namjoon

On 6 December 2024, BTS RM Around the world in a day (feat. Moses Sumney) music video was released and fans loved the innocence captured by our beloved Kim Namjoon. The song is from his latest album Right Place, Wrong Person which has garnered much love from fans around the world and has been a joy to listen to. The video released shows our beloved leader’s behind-the-scenes of shoots and creating music, while also spending a relaxed time with his people.

Right People, Wrong Person is the idol’s second full-length album which was released on 24th May 2024, with the song Lost! serving as the album’s title track. The album consists of a total of 11 tracks, including- Right People Wrong Place, Nuts, Out of Love, Domodachi, ? (Interlude), Groin, Heaven, Lost!, Around the world in a day, ㅠㅠ (Credit Roll), and Come Back to Me. The songs have all been on charts since the release of the album in May.

Let’s begin with the music video review!

BTS RM Around the world in a day MV Review!

Starting off with the sweet vocals of Moses Sumney, the song plays out with relaxed notes while the video vibes along as we see RM with his group enjoying a relaxed atmosphere. The song is relaxed and so is the video that shows him as Kim Namjoon and not RM. As the group is busy recording his album, they share some wonderful moments together and it is these moments that we get to see in this music video, taking us closer to the innocent Namjoon we all love.

With breaks in the middle as the rapper enjoys some fireworks and more, the song soon picks up and we cannot stop ourselves from vibing to the song that we have loved since May. This song is surely one to remember, but seeing RM busy Namjooning throughout the video, we cannot stop ourselves from awing as the person that he is.

The music video is an entertainer in its own way and fans cannot stop themselves from feeling closer to the singer as he takes us on his journey through this song. Releasing this music video just a day after the release of his documentary Right Place, Wrong People, this song brings back the feelings we’ve felt through the film, leaving us smiling once again.

Meanwhile, the song also serves as a glimpse of what you’ll be experiencing in theatres when you go to watch the film, as it brings you closer to the rapper’s journey through his latest album. What I really like about the video is the personal touch that is brought to it through the way the video is captured. The video is not captured in a very professional way like other music videos, instead, these are all behind-the-scenes clips that have been put together which makes it unique in its own way.

Meanwhile, the way RM’s voice goes in sync with Moses Sumey is something that brings together a soothing yet exciting experience, making this song one that is hard to ignore. Their voices blend in ways that only bring out the beauty of the lyrics and their deep meaning in ways that only create magic.
