BTS’ Jin’s Military Enlistment
On the other hand, when it comes to Jin’s military enlistment, Koreaboo has brought in a scoop related to the branches that the BTS members will be allowed to enlist in. Covering the report given by South Korea’s Military Manpower Administration, the report gives us detailed speculation of the branches where the members can enlist in.
According to the report, Jin can only apply to enlist in the Army as the age limit to apply for the Navy, Air Force and Marines is 28 and under. Having reached the age of 29, the BTS member has a Korean age of 30 and will first have to submit a cancellation of postponement of his military service.
Military Manpower Administration also states that it usually takes 3 months after the cancellation for the enlistment and also depends on the number of people waiting for the same. But with lesser people applying during winter, the possibility of Jin’s enlistment taking place by the end of 2022 is higher.

On the other hand, Suga too will only be able to enlist in the Army as his Korean age has already reached 29, whereas RM and J-Hope too will only be able to enlist in the Army if they submit their cancellation after 2023. However, the maknae line will be able to apply for the other branches if they submit their cancellation even after 2023.
The members will all soon be following Jin to fulfil their military service and this is a moment of pride for the members. So while it will be hard not to see them together for a while, let us all support them as they fulfil their duty towards their country.
Until then, let us wait for more news while the members continue to release their solo projects because they will never make their beloved ARMYs lonely.
So with that listen to Proof by BTS on Spotify, until Jin’s solo is here to make us smile.
