Brahmastra Trailer: Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt Promise a Spectacular ‘Astraverse’

The much-awaited Brahmastra trailer is finally out. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the epic fantasy mythological drama stars Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna Akkineni. The trailer is called – BRAHMĀSTRA PART ONE: SHIVA.

In Brahmastra, Ranbir Kapoor possesses the power of fire, which is one of the astras. His life changes completely when he learns about his powers. Eventually, he learns about the powers of every astra and, eventually, the most powerful of them all – Brahmastra. However, there are evil forces who want to get their hands on it. One of them is Mouni Roy, who plays the villain in the story.

The 2 minutes 51 seconds trailer is quite intriguing and visually spectacular. Every character looks promising, the background music is intense, and the VFX look fantastic. The trailer was worth the wait, and we can’t wait to know more about the story and the film.

In a statement, Ayan Mukerji has shared his thoughts on the biggest film of his career so far. The director said, “Marking the beginning of a new cinematic universe, ‘The Astraverse’, I believe Brahmāstra is the kind of film that the country would feel really proud of. It touches on our roots; celebrates our rich culture and it takes us forward with our technology. The film is proudly Indian and Imaginative and bringing together some of Pan-India’s most renowned names was a dream come true.”

A long time ago, Karan Johar had confirmed that Shah Rukh Khan will have a special appearance in the film. The fantasy drama is produced by Star Studios, Dharma Productions, Prime Focus and Starlight Pictures. It is scheduled to release in theatres on September 9, 2022, in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
