Today, the makers of Brahmāstra dropped a teaser for the upcoming Deva Deva song. The video features Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan. The song is composed by Pritam and crooned by the very talented Arijit Singh.
In the video, Shiva (Ranbir) tells Isha about the light within. Shiva says the light is what protects them when they face any darkness. It is a special power which brings meaning to lives. Isha asks him where he is seeking the light.
The teaser then shows a big text stating ‘The Light is Coming’. We see Shiva seeking lessons from and trying to understand his powers. There’s a little dance he does while playing with his powers. In the background, there’s a chorus of ‘Om Deva Deva’, which is quite pleasant to ears. The small teaser has got us excited for the full song releasing on August 8.
After Kesariya, this is the second song from the movie that’s sung by Arijit Singh. It seems like after Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, fans will get to enjoy another powerful album with a Ranbir-Arijit combo.

Director Ayan Mukerji shared on Instagram, “(And the rest of it – out on this coming Monday – the day of Lord Shiva ????????) Deva Deva – was the first song to be composed for Brahmāstra, capturing right away the Soul of Shiva’s Journey in the movie ! It has given me so much Energy and Joy over the time it has been with us… And I’m really looking forward to finally sharing the feeling of this Song with everyone – on August 8th ! ????”

Meanwhile, Brahmāstra: Part One – Shiva also stars Nagarjuna Akkineni and Mouni Roy. Produced by Dharma Productions, Starlight Pictures, and Prime Focus, the fantasy adventure drama will release on September 9, 2022.
