Bloom Music Video: EXO’s Chen and Yang Hee-eun Deliver Powerful Vocals in New Collaboration

Bloom Music Video finally dropped on May 30, 2023, and we cannot have enough of it. The latest track features EXO’s Chen in the vocals alongside South Korean singer-songwriter Yang Hee-eun. Their dynamic and powerful vocal skills have added more depth to the artistic and mellow music video. The song has been released as part of the SM Station project under SM Entertainment.

The track leads with the ballad genre, and EXO Chen is known to dominate that section of music. His beautiful voice, along with the unparalleled range he possesses in terms of vocal capabilities, automatically makes him the unspoken king of the ballads. Moreover, Hee-eun’s talent and diverse experience in the field elevate the song’s quality.

The music video features a couple in various scenic locations. The clip opens with a man walking in an open area surrounded by grasslands and trees. With headphones on, the man lies down on the ground when suddenly a woman appears and lies down next to him. The lyrics of the song talk about a flower that is longing to bloom, which indicates the relationship between the man and the woman. The couple go through various stages of life together. From bright, beautiful days to dark, cold days, they constantly remain beside each other, offering all their support.

However, at the end of the video, the woman disappears from the man’s life, but he continues to live without her. It indicates that either death or a mutual decision led to the separation of the couple. She helps him put the headphones inside his ear, hands him an umbrella and walks away from his life quietly. He remains nonchalant about the changes and maintains to go through the basic routines of his life.

The K-pop star also released his third solo mini-album, Last Scene, soon after his discharge from the mandatory military enlistment. Furthermore, Jongdae also lends his voice to various OST projects. He also appeared in many concerts around the world across various locations around the world and is expected to appear more in the upcoming months. Additionally, he occasionally uploads covers of songs on his Youtube channel.
