Bleach Thousand Year Blood War Part 2 Episode 8 Review: Return Of The Hero!

Bleach Thousand Year Blood War Season 2 Episode 8 sees Ichigo arrive on the battlefield to save Soul Society again; this time, he is more ready than ever. Let’s see how things go for him in this review!

Bleach Thousand Year Blood War Part 2 Episode 8 Overview

Bleach Thousand Year Blood War Part 2 Episode 8 Title

What is there to be said about Bleach that hasn’t been said before? It is one of the most popular anime in the West of Japan of all time and is considered a part of the Big Three, a trio of anime widely recognised as having been a part of popularising the medium of anime. The show is back after a hiatus of nine years, as its first run ended in 2013. The newest season of the show is being developed by Studio Pierrot, the studio behind the original series, as well as other giants such as Naruto and Tokyo Ghoul.

The second part of the final arc of Bleach is directed by Tomohisa Taguchi, who has been involved in the productions of Persona 4 The Animation and Twin Star Exorcists, and the series is based on a manga written by Tite Kubo. This episode is also referred to in original Japanese as Bleach Sennen Kessen-hen Ketsubetsu-tan Episode 8 (Bleach Sennen Kessen hen Ketsubetsu tan Episode 8) and Bleach TYBW Part 2 Episode 8. Bleach Thousand Year Blood War Part 2 Episode 8 Review- The Headless Star

Quincy Girls Bleach Thousand Year Blood War Part 2 Episode 8

Ichigo is very easy to root for. He doesn’t really make any stupid decisions because he doesn’t have to do much thinking beyond who to fight and how much power to use while doing so. He is also among the least annoying protagonists of a shonen anime, as his silent and reserved nature makes for a very easy-to-follow main character, and he doesn’t have a habit of complaining. Over the years, he has gone from being headstrong and brutish to a supremely calm and collected warrior.

Thus, it is surprising how much this season of Bleach has been about him not doing anything at all. He has sat in the back like a trump card, getting stronger while the rest of the Soul Society crumbles under the attack of the Quincies. Sure, they are prideful warriors who would never ask for his help, but they also know that they are toast without him. That is also the exact reason why Squad Zero spent so much of their valuable time getting Ichigo battle-ready for another round against Yhwach.

Ichigo kurosaki

Bleach Thousand Year Blood War Season 2 Episode 8 saw the aftermath of the fantastic battle Kenpachi had against Gremmy, as he is mobbed by another traditional of Bleach villains- groups featuring a bunch of powerful female characters who are fans of mobbing their opponents. Most of their job description was to have distinct yet generic personalities and be brutal enough to still stand out as the bad guys despite looking the way they did. They did that job perfectly and looked good while doing it.

Most of the attention was put on Candice Catnipp, who has been a scantily explored (and clad) character who still managed to leave a decent impact on the show. No matter how they do it, anybody who makes Kenpachi fear for his life is good in my books. If this were any other arc of the show, like the arrancar or the fake Karakura town arcs, the abilities of these Quincies would receive some more detail, but we don’t have the luxury of time anymore. Battles have been destructive but short, and it looks like they will keep being this way.

It is finally approaching time we get to talk about the central conflict of this part, Uryu’s defection to the Quincies. We haven’t seen anyone react to it properly since no one knew what had happened, but the end of this episode indicated that we are about to get a discussion on this topic sooner rather than later. All the major players for this are exactly where the show needs them to be now, and it is not long from when we have to discuss where the writing failed Uryu or where it did him right.

Verdict

Bleach Thousand Year Blood War Part 2 Episode 8 was an exciting one that saw Ichigo come back and lay waste to everyone that stood in front of him, and do it with the level of confidence only he can demonstrate.
