Dwayne Johnson as Black Adam in DC’s upcoming project titled the same is one of the most exciting ventures everyone is looking forward to. Produced by New Line Cinema, DC Films, Seven Bucks Productions, and FlynnPictureCo, the film is directed by Jaume Collet-Serra with a screenplay from Adam Sztykiel, Rory Haines, and Sohrab Noshirvani. The upcoming film is going to serve as a spin-off to the 2019 DC film Shazam!.
With the release date approaching closer, the film is going through its final week of reshoots. Actor Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock, who is set to play the titular character in this latest DC film shared some sleek and stunning behind-the-scenes pictures with the audience through his social media handle on Twitter. Johnson shared three photos black and white pictures featuring the popular DC antihero. The pictures also capture him working with director Jaume Collet-Serra on the set. Captioned, “Rage against the dying of the light” the actor also revealed the drop date for the upcoming film’s first trailer release.

The trailer for Black Adam is going to arrive on June 8, 2022. The film is scheduled to release by October 21, 2022 (in the United States). It will feature Johnson in the titular role along with Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher, Aldis Hodge as Hawkman, Sarah Shahi as Adrianna Tomaz, Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone and Pierce Brosnan as Kent Nelson / Doctor Fate. Additionally, Marwan Kenzari, James Cusati-Moyer, Bodhi Sabongui, Mo Amer and Uli Latukefu have also joined the cast in undisclosed roles.
