Bigg Boss 20 Episode 44 had the kind of household drama that came as an aftermath of the earlier event, hurt feelings, and people sleeping on the floor. The number of things that went ridiculously wrong in the episode was rather admissible.
Between Yung DSA feeling disrespected by ScoutOP, Arishfa Khan taking the “revenge” of her life and deciding to throw water on Kanika Mann, Mahhi Vij and Gullu’s bed, and the housemates getting dragged into the aftermath, the episode was less about one big fight and more about how a person’s action can pull half the house into a messy situation.
Bigg Boss 20 Episode 44: Yung DSA Calls Out ScoutOP for Being Rude
The episode began with Yung DSA, ScoutOP, Love Gill and Amrapali Dubey sitting together on the bed while trying to convince Love to take up the duty. Things took an awkward turn when Yung, who had just finished his meal, was asked by Scout to clean the plates. Yung felt that Scout had spoken rudely to him, and he walked away without continuing any conversation.
Amrapali went after Yung to console him and later confronted Scout about how hw had spoken to Yung. Scout eventually approached Yung, giving the two an opportunity to address the issue directly. Yung made his feelings clear, telling Scout that he should not have spoken rudely to him, also reminding him that he deserved respect and expected to be spoken to with respect.
Arishfa Khan’s Revenge Leaves Kanika Mann and Mahhi Vij Furious
Arishfa Khan brought back her issue regarding the lost life and decided to throw water on Kanika, Mahhi and Gullu’s bed for revenge, taking the episode in an entirely different direction. Arishfa went ahead with the decision to throw water, despite Uditi Singh trying to stop her. Uditi clearly did not want to be involved in what was about to happen and eventually left the bedroom when Arishfa did not seem to listen.
Kanika discovered the wet beds and went furious. Mahhi joined in the verbal confrontation, and the situation soon escalated. However, Gullu responded in a different manner, throwing water on Arishfa’s bed in retaliation. Yung DSA also criticised Arishfa’s behaviour and asked her to dry the bed. Arishfa agreed and started using the hair dryer, but Mahhi refused to help.
Amrapali Dubey Questions Uditi Singh as Gullu Defends
As the argument continued, Amrapali Dubey began spiralling over Uditi’s role in the situation. Amrapali said Uditi should have warned the other housemates about her friend’s behaviour, but Gullu defended Uditi, saying she could only ask her not to.
Uditi had made it clear that she had tried to stop Arishfa and that she did not know the extent of retaliation. Amrapali, however, believed that Uditi should have taken another step for the same, while Gullu stood in her favour.
This was another instance of the episode’s drama, stretching beyond the people involved directly. Arishfa had thrown the water, Kanika and Mahhi were dealing with the consequences, and yet another disagreement emerged over what Uditi should or should not have done.
Yung DSA and ScoutOP Give Up Their Bed, Arishfa Is Emotional
Later that night, Yung and Scout slept on the floor, offering their beds. Manish Goel also joined them, choosing to sleep on the floor with the two. Arishfa broke down in tears seeing all this.
Kanika and Gullu later went looking for Arishfa in the garden area, asking her to eat food and get some sleep, encouraging her not to stress herself out over the situation. Arishfa realised the mistake. It was a quieter moment after an episode filled with confrontations, but perhaps one of its important developments. Arishfa had gone ahead with her revenge mechanism, despite being warned, but the resulting mess affecting several people seemed to have made her understand that the situation had gone too far.
Kanika and Gullu Suspect Mahhi’s Alliance Change
The following morning brought another conversation, with Kanika and Gullu discussing Mahhi and her behaviour in the house. They wondered whether Mahhi was trying to change her alliances, gather more people in her favour, and build a friendship with Yung DSA.
Mahhi Vij, who did not seem to have a friendly relationship with Yung after the changing dynamics, was again seen sitting with him in the house.
Meanwhile, the practical consequences of the water incident had not disappeared overnight. The next day, housemates, including Manish Goel and Uditi Singh, were seen drying the wet bedsheets under the sun.
Bigg Boss Season 20 Episode 44: A Revenge That Translated Into Everyone’s Problem
Episode 44 of Bigg Boss 20 had no dearth of arguments, but the water incident was easily the core of the mess: Arishfa’s decision to go ahead despite Uditi’s objection, confrontation with Kanika and Mahhi, retaliation from Gullu, and a larger disagreement about who should have done what.
The realisation that Arishfa seemingly had, with her breaking down into tears, took a more emotional turn, followed by Kanika and Gullu trying to cheer her up. By the following morning, the housemates were still dealing with the wet bedsheets, while Kanika and Gullu were questioning Mahhi’s changing alliances.
In the episode, Yung had also made it clear to Scout that respect matters, even when the conversation seems to be ordinary. One episode, multiple arguments, and absolutely no shortage of things for the housemates to discuss the next morning.
