Big Bet Episode 1 Preview: When, Where and How to Watch!

Previously known as King Of Savvy, Big Bet (카지노) is an original Disney+ South Korean drama series directed by King Yoon-sung (known for helming The Outlaws (2017)), who is also stepping in as these screenwriter. The series stars Choi Min-sik as Cha Mu-sik, Son Seok-koo as Oh Seung-hoon and Lee Dong-hwi as Jeong-pal in the lead roles.

The crime-driven plot of the series puts us right in the midst of the cut-throat environment of casinos, with Cha Moo-sin reigning high on the charts and everyone fearing him in the Philippines. However, things take a turn when he gets entangled in a murder case and he’s compelled to play the biggest bet with his life to win the “fierce game of survival”.

Disney Plus’ description of the series reads: “Cha Moosik runs a casino bar, only to flee to the Philippines due to a crackdown by the National Tax Service”.

Big Bet Cast

Led by Choi Min-sik as Cha Mu-sik, Son Seok-koo as Oh Seung-hoon and Lee Dong-hwi as Jeong-pal as the main characters, the kdrama also stars Heo Sung-tae, Kim Joo-ryoung, Kim Roi-ha, Jin Seon-kyu, Lee Hye-young, and Ryu Hyun-kyung alongside others.

The Korean drama series has 8 episodes, with the first three episodes releasing on December 21, 2022, i.e. Wednesday. Each subsequent episode will be released every Wednesday.

Where to Watch Big Bet

The series will be available to watch exclusively on Disney+ in some territories and on Hulu in the United States.

Big Bet Episode 1 Release Date and Time

The series will stream from December 21, 2022, to January 25, 2023. Episodes 1, 2 and 3 will release on December 21.

Big Bet Episode 1 Prediction

The first episode will kickstart the story with Cha Moo-sik ruling as the king of casino in the Philippines, but will soon be roped into a murder case, seeking to tarnish his reputation. A fellow Korean man, Oh Seung-hoon – a cop, is dispatched in the Philippines to handle the case, and so begins the tussle and race between them.

Big Bet will start streaming on Disney+ Hotstar on December 21, 2022.
