A crime drama as old as time but, as pristine as something new and novel, The Fall is about Detective Superintendent Stella Gibson, who is in a constant chase to catch the serial killer Paul Spector that gives rise to a whirlpool of things. It is created and written by Allan Cubitt. Jakob Verbruggen serves as the director alongside Cubitt. The main characters in this show are played by Gillian Anderson and Jamie Dornan.

The Capture

A thrilling, mystery crime drama that might just be one of the best originals on Peacock, The Capture features Holliday Grainger, Callum Turner, Ben Miles, Laura Haddock, Barry Ward, Ralph Ineson and Ron Perlma in the cast. It revolves around a British soldier charged with a crime that he seemingly did not commit and how the detective handling his case finally can see the conspiracy that has gotten them to the situation they are in. It is created, written and directed by Ben Chanan.

Murder She Wrote

If you are looking for something old and chunky, then this might just be the right pick for you. Created by Peter S. Fischer, Richard Levinson and William Link, the 12-season-long series essentially is about Jessica Fletcher, who attends the Will reading of her old friend where the will is the one housing clues to a dramatic secret treasure hunt. The series stars Angela Lansbury, William Windom, Tom Bosley, Ron Masak, Will Nye, Louis Herthum, Michael Horton and others.

Departure

The 2019 drama Departure really hit us all hard at home, right? It is so good that you would want to watch it over and over again! Created by Vince Shiao, the series stars Archie Panjabi, Christopher Plummer, Kris Holden-Ried, Florence Ordesh, Rebecca Liddiard, Tamara Duarte, Mark Rendall, Peter Mensah and Claire Forlani. One of Us is Lying

One of Us is Lying is based on the 2017 novel of the same name by Karen M. McManus and is one whodunnit that really messes with your head. Developed by Erica Saleh and starring Annalisa Cochrane, Chibuikem Uche, Marianly Tejada, Cooper van Grootel, Barrett Carnahan, Jessica McLeod, Mark McKenna, Melissa Collazo, Sara Thompson and Alimi Ballard, the series shows the intertwined lives of five high schoolers during detention where one of them dies under suspicious circumstances, launching an inevitable investigation that pulls them in deep.

The Lost Symbol

Dan Brown has been a heart-robber in the literature world spinning books where he combines crime, religion, faith and science at a level that one generates masterpieces. Peacock’s The Lost Symbol is an adaptation of his novel that might not be best but, isn’t something to discard altogether either. We have Ashley Zukerman playing the iconic fictional Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon catch up in a mystery against time once again.
