The Glory Season 2 Twitter Reactions: Fans Rejoice to See Park Yeon-jin Suffer and the Ultimate Happy Ending

The Glory Season 2 Twitter Reactions are glad to know that the creators of the show gave each character a deserving end. The revenge thriller Kdrama is directed by Ahn Gil-ho and written by the famous writer Kim Eun-sook. The show was first released in December 2022 with 8 episodes & the second season takes the story further with 8 more episodes.

The ensemble cast of the series includes Song Hye-kyo as Moon Dong-eun, Lee Do-hyun as Joo Yeo-jeong, Lim Ji-yeon as Park Yeon-jin, Shin Ye-eun as young Park Yeon-jin, Yeom Hye-ran as Kang Hyeon-nam, Park Sung-hoon as Jeon Jae-joon, Cha Joo-young as Choi Hye-jeong, Kim Hi-eora as Lee Sa-ra, Kim Gun-woo as Son Myeong-o, Lee So-ee as Yoon So-hee, and Jung Sung-il as Ha Do-yeong among others.

The drama portrayed the story of school bullying & showed that years after surviving horrific abuse in high school, a woman puts an elaborate revenge scheme in motion to make the perpetrators pay for their crimes. Still living with the scars of what she went through, she takes on every one of her perpetrators by making them destroy their own lives through their actions.

While the first part ended right before we could see the revenge plan getting into action, the latest episodes didn’t leave the viewers disappointed with the slow but impactful karmic ending. It starts off at the same point with Ha Do-yeong getting to know more about his wife Yeon-jin and how she could be much eviler than he has assumed.

Meanwhile, the friend group also gets some hints about Yeon-jin being the one behind Myeong-o’s death when Hye-jeong retrieved his tablet & Jae-jun got to know that she got the CCTV footage deleted from his shop – the place where his murder happened. What makes the show apart is that the protagonist plays every move strategically & makes the perpetrators become their own enemies instead of Dong-geun being the one to drag them to hell.

The viewers were happy to know that the character of Do-yeong was as simple as he was portrayed. Many believed that there must be something sinister behind his calm demeanour but he turns out to be just a decent guy who cares about his daughter. Also, the emergence of Dong-geun’s mother definitely made many viewers’ blood boil and made her ending all the more satisfying.

The character of Kang Hyeon-nam also emerged as a true winner, as she finally gets to revel in her freedom & even got to see the good side of her husband, although briefly. Overall, the show ended on a satisfactory note and doesn’t leave anything more to be desired. With the open ending or tragic end being the trend, it was exhilarating to see a story reaching a full circle.
