Best Celebrity Halloween Costumes 2026: From Janelle Monáe as Phish Boy to Paris Hilton as Britney Spears

Best Celebrity Halloween Costumes 2026: Halloween 2026 has officially given fans enough to talk about their favourite celebrity look. Some went for nostalgia, while some recreated iconic pop-culture visuals, and some decided to completely transform themselves!

Best Celebrity Halloween Costumes 2026

This year’s celebrity Halloween looks have been fun because there is flavour from everywhere. Bollywood nostalgia came with Janhvi Kapoor’s look, while Paris Hilton revisited Britney Spears’ legendary VMA performance, an important pop culture moment, and Tyga decided to have a full-blown transformation.

If you are still looking for Halloween costume inspiration or simply want to appreciate the amount of effort celebrities put into dressing up, these are some of the best looks from Halloween 2026, based on the costumes they actually shared on social media.

Elizabeth Gillies as Luke

Elizabeth Gillies brought back the childhood Disney memories with her being transformed into the Disney Channel 1998 goblin look. She went all in wth the facial prosthetics, giant nose, goblin-like ears, a red cape and the character’s checkered shirt. She, in fact, borrowed the personality of the goblin and took to Instagram, writing, “I’m something of a big cheese around here”.

Janhvi Kapoor as Nagin

For the Bollywood enthusiasts, Janhvi Kapoor’s Halloween appearance was one of the most memorable looks this year! She went back to a film that holds a very personal connection for her, recreating her mother, Bollywood actor Late Sridevi’s iconic look from the fantasy film Nagina. The Naagin look was channelled with a matching outfit and jewellery, bringing back one of the most recognisable Hindi cinema characters. Orry joined her, recreating Rishi Kapoor’s look. She took to Instagram, writing, “So much of Halloween has become about dressing up as your favourite characters and pop culture moments. Sometimes they’re spooky, sometimes they’re funny, and sometimes it’s a tribute… And who could possibly be more iconic than Mumma, Rishi uncle and Amrish sir!!”

Tyga as Martian

Tyga’s Martian look was different, giving us an alien from Mars Attacks! The rapper paid tribute to Tim Burton’s science-fiction comedy featuring the distinctive oversized alien head and the bizarre appearance associated with the look.

Janelle Monáe as Phish Boy

Janelle Monáe introduced Phish Boy, an original human-fish character that is fascinating to look at and appreciate the hard work put into it. The artist managed to make the celebrations feel like an entire production! The transformation featured detailed fish prosthetics, big eyes, and fin-like details, and the elaborate makeup was paired with a vintage outfit featuring a striped vest over a mutton-sleeved shirt, cropped pants matching the vest, a red tie, knee socks, and brown shoes.

Priyanka Chopra as King Kylie

Priyanka Chopra dressed up as King Kylie, wearing a pink wig, dark glasses, a black top, matching trousers and a long black jacket. The actor made Halloween this year a family affair with Nick Jonas and her daughter, Malti, dressing up as a Cowboy and a Ghost Princess, respectively. The actor captioned the pictures as an “unlikely alliance”, using the hashtag “diwaloween”.

Paris Hilton as Britney Spears

Paris Hilton recreated Britney’s 2001 MTV VMA performance of I’m a Slave 4 U, featuring the recognisable performance styling and the snake, and bringing back a moment that people discuss whenever conversation turns to iconic MTV performances.

Brandy as Barbie

Brandy’s 2026 Halloween costume was a little more personal than the usual Barbie-inspired outfit as she celebrated the character. Sharing the picture on Instagram, she wrote, “Black. Beautiful. Barbie… Being one of the first Black women to have a Barbie made in my likeness will always mean so much to me. My skin, my braids, my smile… a little piece of me that other little girls could see themselves in…”

Usher as Mr Potato Head from Toy Story

This was again a family affair! Usher dressed up as Mr Potato Head, bringing the animated character into the family celebration while his wife, Jennifer Goicoechea, dressed as Bo Peep and their children joined with other Toy Story characters.

Alex Consani as Thumb-Thumb from Spy Kids

Alex Consani recreated the distinctive creature with the oversized thumb-shaped head, wrinkled skin details and the recognisable red outfit. She also paired the look with a black Birkin bag and a recognisable short red suit of Thumb-Thumb.

Zendaya as Halle Berry

Zendaya recreated Halle Berry’s yellow Lanvin ensemble from the New York premiere of X-Men back in 2000. The look gave remarkable attention to detail, and what makes the look interesting is that the actor chose to pay tribute to Halle’s actual appearance rather than the fictional character.

Halloween 2026 Done Right

Halloween 2026 has given us quite a range of celebrity costume ideas, and the best part is that none of these looks feels interchangeable. There were full-blown transformations with prosthetics on one side, while some celebrities decided to pay tribute to certain iconic performances, and all hit the nail on the head!

So whether you are planning a full-blown transformation or putting together something at the last minute, this year’s celebrity Halloween looks have plenty to borrow from.
