Beauty in Black Ending Explained
The story starts with two distinct stories — Kimmie is working a rather dangerous job at a strip club and is constantly forced by the manager of the joint, Body, to get plastic surgery to make more money. Although Kimmie is uninterested, her best friend is desperate to get the job done, knowing fully well that it’s a back alley operation that might go bad. She refuses to heed Kimmie’s advice on the matter as well, and the latter is constantly threatened by Body. She owes a ton of money to Jules, the ringleader of the club, who seems to have a soft spot for her.
On the other hand, we have Mallory Bellarie, the heiress behind a successful haircare company and a part of her husband’s fortunes. She’s the darling of the family, while everyone looks down on her husband Roy, not knowing that she has a mean streak to her. One night while coming back home, Mallory runs over Ina and realises soon enough that this is going to cause a catastrophe. She partners up with Jules to keep the matter hush-hush and make sure that Ina doesn’t wake up from her coma to tell the truth.

Amid this mess, Mallory hosts a Beauty in the Black event to cater to fostered youth, all the while looking into finding out Roy’s mistress, not knowing that it’s Kimmie. Kimmie and Roy have a contentious relationship and after she tries to get Roy into trouble by making a call from his phone to Mallory in the middle of sex, he tries to get rid of her once and for all. However, that has to wait for now.
Meanwhile, Norman continues to spew destruction at anything and everything that comes his way but Olivia asks him to keep her sons away from this mess. In the midst of this, a class action lawsuit rises its head against Mallory’s company which begins to gain traction. As they try to handle the mess, she starts an affair with Calvin, her driver. By the end of Beauty in Black episode 8, he professes his feelings for Mallory, which she ultimately rejects. On the other hand, Kimmie starts to get a regular customer, Horace, who is part of the Bellarie family. He’s a closeted gay man who is interested in Angel and when the two realise that he is extremely wealthy, they come up with a plan to rob him.

Of course, this doesn’t go over well, and the robbery goes sideways. Kimmie, Angel and Horace are attacked by masked thieves who try to kill them and rob Horace’s safe, but, in a shocking twist, Horace kills all of them. Kimmie and Angel confess to having come up with a plan to rob him but tell him that they have nothing to do with these men. In the end, they tell him that they had to do this in order to leave the club and disappear once and for all and open up about Jules’s hold on them and about the corrupt judge who had their records removed. Horace lets them leave but issues still await Kimmie as Body kidnaps her Sylvie and, in a fit of rage, she runs over Body. Meanwhile, Mallory and Roy find Charles’s car burning on their private road.
As Horace calls Judge Harold to meet with him about his corrupt ways, the family grieves Charles’s death which Norman has caused as revenge for his wife’s death. Meanwhile, Kimmie and Angel find a way to get Sylvie back from Delinda. As chaos erupts in the Bellarie house, Mallory starts to plan the next move, clearly excited about the fact that Roy will get all of Charles’s shares. In a surprising twist, Varney goes home, though, he finds Charles at home, safe and sound. Elsewhere, Kimmie takes a gun to Delinda’s house to find Sylvie and after she pushes her over the edge, Kimmie shoots her dead.

Jules gets wind of Body and Delinda’s deaths and instructs Charles to find Kimmie, while Horace learns about Norman’s illegal activities and sets out to do something about it. Meanwhile, Horace tries to find a way to not give his shares to his family and Varney tells him that if his family ever gets convicted of a Class B felony, they will forfeit their shares. He asks Jules to find Angel, clearly thinking of something devious. Horace’s call makes everyone tense and they scramble to figure out why he wants to find Angel. Meanwhile, Lena calls Mallory and asks her whether she is interested in settling the lawsuit since the number of plaintiffs has gone up to 64 now. On the other hand, Kimmie throws Roy off the window in a fit of rage after he refuses to tell her about Sylvie.

Later on, as things start to reach their crescendo, Horace puts forth a condition for Kimmie and asks her to work with him so that they can help each other out of this mess. However, Kimmie refuses to trust him and instead is more interested in looking for Sylvie on her own. When Angel finds Sylvie drugged up at the club, he tells Kimmie, who rushes over to save her. Thankfully, Horace gets there as well and makes plans to get Sylvie out from the back of the club. Meanwhile, Norman realises that the guy Jules has brought forth as Ina’s killer is just a set-up and tortures him for more information. In the end, he accepts that the guy killed his wife.
At the club, Horace rescues Sylvie but Kimmie gets caught in turn. Rain calls and tells Horace about Kimmie, who goes back to get her and Angel. Putting an end to the madness, Horace questions Jules about everything and he tries to lie to him. Of course, Horace knows everything but he suddenly starts to feel ill and Angel takes him to the hospital. Jules gives Norman the update and then meets Roy and Mallory to give them the update as well. And because bad news just follows Kimmie around, it turns out that she had stolen the car from Mrs Lakeland, whose sick father was in the backseat of the car when Kimmie took it.

In Beauty in Black episode 16, Horace tells Kimmie that he wants to marry her and give her his shares so that his sons don’t get them after he dies. Although Kimmie is apprehensive at first, things turn out in her favour when she realises that there is no catch to this arrangement. As the others scramble to figure out why Horace has called all of them to the hospital, including a judge and others, Varney gives them the shocking news. When they realise that Horace is trying to dilute their shares, they rush to the hospital room and he tells them that Kimmie now owns the company as well. It’s a shocking twist of fate that leaves Kimmie having the last laugh. Meanwhile, the series ends with Angel getting arrested for the stolen car in the parking lot.
