Back in the Groove Episode 5-6 finds the ladies of the groove palace taking a girls-only night, to redirect the complete focus on their personal rediscovery. The latest instalment of the reality show has a runtime of 50-55 minutes and features the trio of Stepahine Michaels, Sparkle Hyche, and Brooke Mora along with the recurring contestants.
The complete cast of the episode includes Pedro Salamanca as Pedro the Concierge, Tashi Thukhotsong, Mike Cerroni, Quentin Llyod, LeRoy and others. Moreover, the show is hosted by Taye Diggs.
-Back in the Groove Episode 5-6 Review Does Not Contain Spoilers-
The new episode of this cringe-fully loaded show starts with another opening montage from Pedro the Concierge that reminds us of the core purpose of the Groove hotel (as if we really needed a reminder) and re-emphasises the importance of finding the inner groove.
This cult-like opening sets the theme for the current instalment and finds the leading trio Steph, Brooke and Sparkle opting for a personal retreat, instead of connecting with the contestants. Moreover, the real reason behind this choice lies in LeRoy’s reaction to Steph’s big revelation.
Notably, when Steph announced that her own son is participating in the show, nobody took it in a more harsh manner than Leroy. The young lad has literally taken it as a personal blow and to be fair, he is acting pretty stupidly. I know that it’s a hard thing to digest, but what else do you expect from a reality show?
If the ladies don’t have any issues with the revelation, then there is no point in whining about it for anyone. However, it’s not the only thing that fills out the cringe space in the episode, because we all get to see a weird healing session, followed by a short horse ride session (talk about innuendo huh).

As you can easily predict, each and every issue gets magically solved in the end, and the remaining contestants sort out their vibe with the ladies. The checkouts are so obvious, and you can literally guess them before the start of the episode.
Back in the Groove Episode 5 and 6 adds more sexual hints, and subtracts any remaining logic. The entire sequence of events is designed to lower your IQ and double your monotony rate, which just lands it in the league of unwanted reality shows, meant only for arousal. Furthermore, with the recent episodes, we are left with basic-level content, that refuses to learn from its repetitive mistakes.
