Attack 13 Ending Explained: When Jin arrives at her new highschool, she was unaware of just how dangerous things are about to get when she stands up to the resident bully Bussaba. Unfortunately, when she dies, things get a whole lot more dangerous.

The film has a runtime of 105 minutes.

The episode opens with someone wanting to summon a ghost with the help of a forest shaman, as we jump one week back to see how Bussaba, the captain of the high school team, bullies and extorts Yah. Similarly, she brutally assaults anyone and everyone around her, and everyone is generally scared of her. However, when new student Jin arrives at school, the dynamic changes. Jin is unafraid and doesn’t take anyone’s crap.

Unfortunately, Bussaba feigns friendship with Jin and takes her to an unsafe environment, leaving her to be abused at the hands of some unfavourable men. Thankfully, Jin has more presence of mind and gets herself out of the mess. However, the problem resolves itself when Bussaba stabs her boyfriend, is expelled for it and then takes her life in the school gym. It’s a terrible situation that leaves all of them heartbroken, regardless of how terrible Bussaba was.

However, things take a turn at the funeral when horrifying things start to take place, leaving the students and family members dumbfounded.

Who turned Bussaba into a ghost?

At first, the students suspect her father, who was abusive towards Bassuba, to be controlling her spirit and torturing her. However, they soon realise that they were tricked and this results in more people dying. In the end, the students realise that it was Hong who summoned Bussaba.

How does Jin fight against her nemesis?

Jin and her friends go to a shaman to try and end Bussaba’s ghost, but he’s not strong enough to control it. After getting brutally attacked, the shaman instructs them to pour tainted water on the person who summoned the ghost and their tools in order to end the nightmare. However, it must be done in 3 days.

They eventually find the place where the ritual took place and dismantle it. But Jin soon realises that it’s all been a lie, and the things that they destroyed were meant for protection. In the end, she faces off against Hong in the gym where it all started and fights her and Bussaba, but is unable to win.

Why did Hong summon Bussaba?

Hong, bullied for years by different people, had become addicted to the thought of it and had created a relationship with her bullies. Through her bullies, she found importance, and when Bussaba died, she was left alone and miserable, with no one seemingly there to love her.

How did Bussaba really die?

In a shocking twist, the viewers learn that Bussaba didn’t commit suicide and was, instead, killed during a fight with Jin. It was technically an accident after Bussaba attacked her for destroying her life; however, the others staged it so that people would think that she ended her life. Thus, Bussaba was desperate for revenge against those who seemingly murdered her.

What happens in the end?

In the end, Jin fights with Bussaba and Hong but cannot overcome them both. Although she stabs Hong/Bussaba, she, too, is stabbed by a sacred sword that eventually leads to Bussaba taking over her body. The last scene showcases Bussaba, in Jin’s body, continuing to bully Hong, but now they both know that they enjoy this sick dynamic.
