For the first time ever, one of the most prestigious Asian award ceremonies honouring artists from the various scenes of music, television and film will be held in the Philippines, and more K-pop idols and groups just got added to the list of Asia Artist Awards 2023 lineup. Co-organised by Asia Artist Awards Organizing Committee, TONZ Entertainment, and PULP Live World, the event will be held at the Philippine Arena, aka the world’s largest indoor arena. Last year’s ceremony, which was the 7th edition of the awards series, was held at the Nippon Gaishi Hall, Nagoya in Japan.
The upcoming grand affair is set to establish new standards of showbiz and make way for one of the most illustrious year-end celebrations commemorating the contribution of Asian artists to the Entertainment field. Slated to to be held on December 14, 2023, Thursday, the show’s officials had already announced the partial lineup of attendees few weeks ago. Now that new names have made their way into the list, we’re even more excited to find out who all will be gracing the evening in the Philippines.
Asia Artist Awards 2023 Hosts
Last year, IVE’s Jang Won-young and Super Junior’s Leeteuk hosted the event, and now for the 8th Asia Artist Awards, IVE Wonyoung will again be stepping forward to steer the evening along with Kang Daniel and ZEROBASEONE’s Sung Hanbin.
Asia Artist Awards 2023 Actors Lineup
Some of the mot well renowned K-drama actors will line up for the event’s attendance, including A Time Called You and Business Proposal‘s Ahn Hyo-seop, and Kim Seon-ho, who recently made his Korean movie debut on the big screen with The Childe, and is also known for leading shows like Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha and Start-Up. Alongside them, actor/ singer Kim Se-jeong of The Uncanny Counter series and Business Proposal fame, who also made her long-awaited comeback as a K-pop artist on September 4, 2023, with her first full-length album Door, will also be seen at the awards, plus True Beauty and The Interest of Love actress Moon Ga-young will be there at the ceremony too.
EDIT: On September 13, StarNews revealed the names of a few other actors who will be joining the aforementioned stars. Lee Dong-hwi, who was recently spotted in the Disney+ series Big Bet and is well known for his role in Reply 1988, will also be attending the show. Plus, Lee Joon-hyuk, who’ll be soon seen in the Disney+ series Vigilante will be there as well with The Glory and The Real Has Come actress Cha Joo-young, and Lee Eun-saem, known for All of Us Are Dead.

As for the great names of K-pop heading to the Philippines this December, the event will be headed by groups like Stray Kids, NewJeans, ZEROBASEONE, THE BOYZ, LE SSERAFIM, NMIXX, BOYNEXTDOOR, ITZY and &TEAM (andTEAM), and soloist Kwon Eunbi. (Other artist names will updated once more information is announced by the official sources)
EDIT: Seventeen’s unit BSS, ATBO, HORI7ON, KINGDOM, LUN8, ONEUS, and the Philippines boy band SB19 will also be there.
Streaming sites and other details about how to tune into the show are yet to be announced. Asia Artist Awards 2023 will kick off on December 14, 2023.
