The air has not been kind to Shah Rukh Khan and his family since the actor’s son Aryan Khan has been taken into custody. As of the latest reports, Aryan Khan is going to be in custody until 7th October it seems. A lot of people from the Bollywood industry are standing by the family such as Salman Khan, Seema Khan, Neelam Kothari. Several people from the industry have also been visiting Mannat providing support to the family in turmoil.
Fans have taken over social media to show support to the family. However, since the arrest of Aryan Khan, it has been pressed on that the NCB is targeting SRK. But, all these allegations have been refuted by the Zonal Director, Sameer Wankhede.
NCB Zonal Director On Shah Rukh Khan:
“We are not targeting anyone at all. We have nothing against him. We have arrested more than 300 people in the last 10 months. Out of those, at the most, there would be about 4 to 5 known people. How can you say that we are targeting anyone? Most of those arrested in the last one year are hard-core, drug-related criminals”, reported the Times of India on Sameer Wankhede’s stance in the matter.

The zonal director also noted how the department is instrumental in arresting drug peddlers and suppliers all around the year but, the media only sensationalizes the news of the same when it revolves around a famous celebrity. He says that NCB’s chief work is to eradicate the drug menace.
Additionally, the NCB zonal director revealed that the department is also questioning the organiser of the event in regards to their activities and the recurrence of such parties.
Meanwhile, news awaits on the ongoing custody of Aryan Khan caught in the drug case.
