Arifureta Season 2 Episode 2 Overview

Arifureta Season 2 Episode 2 Title

Arifureta From Commonplace to World’s Strongest Season 2 or Arifureta Shokugyou de Sekai Saikyou Season 2 in original Japanese is an Isekai, fantasy and romance anime brought to the medium of anime by Studios Mother and asread. Asread is known for anime such as the first season of Arifureta and Mirai Nikki. Meanwhile, this season is Studio Mother’s first anime adaptation of any kind.

Arifureta Season 2 Episode 2 Review- This Is Rather Trivial

Arifureta Season 2 Episode 2 Gang

No one would have guessed while watching the first season, but a lot of the lack of quality some people perceived this show to have at that time was intrinsically linked to the often ugly looking animation. The show has received a tremendous facelift for its second season, and it seems to have shaken off a lot of what hindered it the first time around. The quality of animation has caused the overall product to improve drastically.

It is necessary to mention that because it seems as if the show almost needed this turn of events. The plot and characters are often enough to make a show worth watching, even if the animation isn’t up to snuff, but that isn’t the case here. I’ll preface this statement by saying that I like the show, and this criticism comes from a place of appreciation and hope to see the show do well- Arifureta isn’t a very interesting show to watch. It can often be quite dull.

It didn’t start this way, as seeing Hajime rise his way to the top was great and rewarding. However, as his powers and entourage grew, so went any hype that seeing him in action ever generated because he is just too strong for everyone in this universe. No one can stand up to him or even keep up with him, especially with this highly overpowered squad at his side. Some shows have been able to pull characters this strong, but Arifureta doesn’t seem to be one of them.

Take Arifureta Season 2 Episode 2 as an example. There were two conflicts in this episode, and both were solved in a matter of minutes. Not once did our heroes ever seem in trouble, and everything went smoothly until the very end when the show had to create an external and unexpected device to make us even imagine the possibility that one of them could be in danger. While such stories can be fun, there aren’t enough to make a series run for a while, which Arifureta obviously wants to do.

Other than that, Arifureta Season 2 Episode 2 was a standard episode of the show as we have come to know it. It was funny, there was a lot of action, and it was somewhat inappropriate. Just a regular day in the lives of Hajime and his friends. Animation isn’t the only thing that has improved significantly, as the show’s music has also evolved for the better. The new tunes sound crisp and suit the atmosphere of the show very well, and there’s just something about hearing rock music in the background while the main characters take care of business.

Verdict

Arifureta Season 2 Episode 2 was a decent enough way to pass the time, but the show seems to be getting threadbare as time goes on. Something massive needs to happen soon to retain an interest in the goings.
