The arrival of Cassian for the funeral is highly anticipated yet is doubted by everyone, as many are staking out to capture him – dead or alive. He does arrive and finally rescues Bix, who seems completely disgruntled and out of touch with reality and herself. While she and others fly off to safety with the promise of reuniting again with Andor, he had some brave plans ahead.
He confronts Luthen with the choice of either killing him or taking him along, forming the rebellion alliance. While this scene marks the end of the season, a post-credit scene revealed something that left the viewers truly surprised.
