Alpha Males Trailer: Fernando Gil, Fele Martínez and Others Delearn to Become New Age Men

For the perfect year-end, Netflix has unveiled an upcoming Spanish comedy series with Alpha Males Trailer. The series is from the creators of ‘La que se avecina‘ and ‘Aquí no hay quien viva‘ – Alberto and Laura Caballero and produced by Contubernio Films. It is a comedy series that explores the difficulties of getting out of established roles and adapting to the current times.

The official synopsis of the series reads, “A lost job, an open relationship, a sexless marriage, a divorce. Four middle-aged friends in Madrid try to navigate the changing world of masculinity.” The tagline of the show is – The end of the Patriarchy is coming.

In the middle of the masculinity crisis, four forty-some-year-old friends are losing their thrones, privileges and identity. Years ago, they would have been alpha males in charge of their relationships, their jobs and their lives. But they have to live in the equality era, a society with new rules that hits them, exposing their pathos.

They talk about how the world is sexist and that men need to change by deconstructing their masculinity. But the four friends are having a hard time, keeping up with new rules and changes in their traditional households.

From being suggested to have an open relationship, to dealing with a teenage daughter in the age of the internet and trying to make everything work, they have a lot on their plate that they need to learn and adapt quickly, which will only ensue hilarious & chaotic situations.
