All The Light We Cannot See Synopsis/ Plot

Based on Anthony Doerr’s novel of the same name, the plot of the trailer revolves around the time of World War II. Marie-Laure is a broadcaster who gives people hope and convinces them that the darkness they see during the war can end one day. In the midst of the darkness of invading cities, she wants to remember that light lasts forever. Darkness lasts not even for one second when you turn on the light. I know that broadcasting can get me executed, but she will not be silenced, and she hopes people will tune in again tomorrow for her broadcast.

Then we are introduced to Werner, a German officer who was trained to locate radio frequencies. He has a dark past, as he says that the things, he has seen have haunted him, but the voice from the radio was his escape. But fate has something else in store, as he is the one assigned to kill Marie-Laure, the broadcaster. She thinks that all the people during the war have become evil, while her father says that not all people are. Marie is blind, but she doesn’t want to stop, as she is the one sending a message that will help in winning the war. Meanwhile, Werner needs to kill her, or he is the one who’s going to die.
