Alice in Borderland Netflix series is based on the manga “Alice in Borderland” by Haro Aso (published by Shogakukan). There are 6 total episodes, with an approximate runtime of around 60 minutes.

If you’re interested in figuring out what happened in the series and what the exciting new games and their rules are, look no further! This season, Arisu and Usagi play the games separately, reuniting later on in the series. So it’s double the thrills, action and bloodshed!

1. Old Maid

Players will be electrocuted to death either because they move from their seats or draw the Joker card as they change hands of one card per round.

2. Sacred Fortunes

Players have to draw ten fortune slips and test their luck. If they successfully decipher the sacred fortune slips accurately and manage to survive, then they will win the game. Each person has to draw one slip at a time and the time limit is one minute per draw.

The catch here is that the fortune slips come with number problems and if the player gets an answer wrong, then flaming arrows will be thrown at the crowd according to the margin of error.

3. Zombie Hunt

Each participant will receive seven playing cards each that they can use to play one on one games at designated areas. In the games, players have to play cards from the same suit from th hand dealt to them. The person with the highest cumulative total wins. The winner receives one card from the losing player. There are three special cards in the game called the Zombie Card that will be given to only one player from each group. The card guarantees an instant win and infects the losing player by the Zombie and they receive it as well.

There is one card that can stop the Zombie from multiplying, the Shotgun Card, that can kill a Zombie and can only be used once by one player. The last special card is the Vaccine Card, which is distributed randomly among the group and can cancel the Zombie Card and turn a Zombie into Human. However, it cannot be used on the person holding the Vaccine Card.

4. Runaway Train

All participants are on a moving train that doesn’t have a driver. They have to move from their starting car to the lead car and stop the train when they hear the siren to win the game. The catch is that when the partipants move from one compartment to another, the doors will lock automatically and after 30 seconds either oxygen or poison gas will be released. They will have 30 seconds to decide whether or not to put on their mask and use the cannister of neutralising agent provided. Poison will be disperesed in only 4 of the cars and they will have 5 cannisters. Lastly, they can’t use each other’s cannisters.

5. Tokyo Bingo Tower

Contestants have to play bingo on the Tokyo Tower and press the buzzers installed at different places. They must complete a vertical, a horizontal or a diagonal line on the bingo card to win the game. In this game, they can work as a team to complete the bingo. At the top of the tower, there is a ‘Free’ buzzer that corresponds of the free space in the bingo.

6. Kick the Can

Before time runs out, players must return the can to its original starting point and insert it into its base. There are 10 total cans and all of them have blasters attached to them! Plus, the cans are time bombs and are triggered the moment someone holds them. Releasing the time bomb resets it, but the time deceases by 5 seconds every time it changes hands.

7. Possible Futures

There are 25 total rooms in a 5×5 box. In each round, players will roll the dice, and the number indicates how many people will move on to the next round. With a maximum of 15 rounds, players must repeat the process to get out in the end. However, players who will be left behind will be locked in the room, and only another player can let them out using their wristband. Each player has 15 points, and when that reaches 0, they are eliminated.

The players will be shown their futures, which they have to choose, as they advance through the rounds. In the end, the future that they have chosen will become their reality once they exit.
