On August 4, 2022, it was announced that the ongoing fantasy Kdrama Alchemy of Souls (환혼) will be going on a week-long hiatus after the release of episodes 15 and 16 this week. The series is very well acclaimed and this news has brought disappointment for fans everywhere.

The news has brought along a wave of a disappointment for the fans as the show is moving towards its end and the scenes are getting intense. However, a highlight of the main storyline will be broadcasted on August 13 and a special broadcast with the cast on August 14. While this may give us some relief, it cannot match the intensity of new episodes.

As reported by Soompi earlier today, Alchemy of Souls will air as usual on August 6 and 7, followed by a week-long hiatus to enhance the level of completion for the second half.
