The two-minute trailer opens by showcasing the dire condition that Nike was in back in 1984. With a major lack in sales and growth, Sonny Vaccaro hunts for the next opportunity that can plummet the company to skyrocket success. A new seed of idea grows inside his brain as he plans to focus mainly on the basketball division of their company, which was in terrible condition. The leading competition against Nike was Converse, which was already an established company.

Further into the trailer, it showcases how through a VCR tape Vaccaro comes across Michael Jordan, who was still a rookie. He travels miles to meet his family to convince them to let him make Jordan the face of the new shoes by the company. Jordan’s mother, Deloris, played by Viola Davis, remains sceptical about the deal.

Meanwhile, Vaccaro tries to convince Phil Knight to recruit the rookie, who also remains cynical about the idea. After many efforts, they finally agreed to include Jordan and planned to build a shoe line around the basketball player. And as history remains a witness, the greatest basketball shoes were created, which remains a sensation among the masses even today.

The cast includes Chris Tucker from the Rush Hour franchise, Marlon Wayans as George Raveling, Chris Messina, Dan Bucatinsky and many more. The plot of the movie is based on the true events of how Nike became one of the most successful shoe companies in the world following the acquisition of basketball’s greatest player in history, Michael Jordan. Currently, Nike Air Jordans are one of the best-selling shoes in the world.
