A Storm for Christmas is an upcoming Norwegian comedy series, set to be released on Netflix this week. Acclaimed director Per-Olav Sørensen (Home for Christmas, Quicksand, Nobel) has teamed up with the award-winning writer Lars Saabye Christensen to create this Christmas series.
There will be 6 parts in this limited series and will follow a group of people who get stuck in an airport due to a storm. With no flights to take them to their destination, they might even have to celebrate their Christmas eve together.

The limited series features a large ensemble of actors from across the Nordic countries, including Ida Elise Broch, Dennis Storhøi, Jan Gunnar Røise, Alexandra Rapaport, Jon Øigarden, Thea Sofie Loch Næss, Maibritt Saerens, Ravdeep Singh, Hanna Ardéhn, Evelyn Rasmussen Osazuwa, Valter Skarsgård, Ibrahim Faal, Talia Angelica Lorentzen, Sus Wilkins, Ariadna Cabrol, Kyrre Hellum, Line Verndal and Ghita Nørby among others.

A Storm for Christmas Plot/Synopsis
The official synopsis of the series reads, “Destinies collide when extreme weather traps travellers and workers at an airport, forcing them to spend the final hours leading up to Christmas together.” The show will follow a group of people arriving at Oslo airport. Some to welcome their loved ones, some to travel home to their families, and some to fly away and escape Christmas.
But in one way or another, their Christmas mission goes awry. They are all stranded at the airport and the clock is ticking – only 24 hours til Christmas – so what do they do? We will get introduced to various stories of the people in the airport, from celebrities to families going through a rough patch, everyone is facing some troubles in their lives.
But as their destinies will collide for the better, with each other’s help they might witness a Christmas miracle or find some healing by sharing their pains. Apart from the heartwarming stuff, the hilarious part of the trailer is when kids ask the airport Santa for iPhones and Chanel bags for Christmas presents.
