Furies Season 2 Ending Explained

Olympus’s fall in the last season made it easy for a new order called Damocles to make its way to the forefront. Headed by the shadowy Oz, he maintained total control over every aspect of the underworld, with its few resistances pushing forth to maintain freedom from the gang. However, most were under their control.

Selma and Lyna, after Driss’s death, have come up with a plan to take Damocles down from the inside out, and, according to the plan, Lyna infiltrates the gang to get as close to Oz as possible. Although that proves to be almost impossible thanks to his enforcer Varda standing between them, Lyna gets information that there is someone who knows what Oz looks like and, after a heavy fight, gets her hands on the eyewitness – a young boy called Leon.

Is Lyna able to find Oz?

Lyna and Leon find Oz, but their plans to identify him are thwarted as he proves to be smarter than they are. Thankfully, though, after Orso kidnaps Leon, she finally identifies him after Oz stops the two from leaving his lair. After a thrilling fight, Lyna finally takes Oz hostage, hoping to get him to Elie, but that plan is not successful either.

Does she get her freedom?

To get her freedom and that of her gang, Lyna is instructed to bring Oz to the police alive. However, that proves to be difficult after Oz is almost killed a few times. Thankfully, she succesfully does get her pardon after Oz is captured, but soon, a shocking betrayal from Iris, a mole working for Oz in the police, betrays him and hands him over to Selma, who shoots him dead in police custody. It results in her pardon being recalled.

In the last episode, after Oz is killed, Selma takes over power, having lied to The Carny about her plans since the beginning. She has always been after the head seat, since the time her mother handed her the responsibility of being The Fury, and now she has the chance. Moreover, she is holding the kids of the resistance members hostage, as a result of which she has complete power over them.

A shocked Lyna tries to stop her, but in vain. She is captured, like Driss, and taken away to be held prisoner.

Her prison sentence, however, doesn’t last too long as the car transporting her is overturned by Orso, who arrives to get Lyna free. The last scene promises a new season to let us know whether Lyna takes Selma down as her mother makes a shocking return, presumably to help her daughter get the revenge she deserves.
