All to Know About The Trauma Code Heroes on Call

The Trauma Code Heroes on Call Plot

Baek Gang-hyeok is a genius trauma surgeon who has performed surgeries in conflict zones around the world and is confident in his abilities. While working, he has a bulldozer-like personality especially when he thinks he is doing the right thing, making his relationship with others not so easy. Soon, he begins working at a university hospital where he is appointed to lead the severe trauma team.

However, this team is like a double-edged sword for the hospital because the more patients saved by the trauma team the more the hospital faces financial trouble. While this results in the trauma team becoming more of a nominal existence in the hospital, everything changes with Gang-hyeok’s arrival. He takes on his first pupil- Yang Jae-won, who was part of the proctological team led by Professor Han Yu-rim.

After scouting Jae-won, Gang-hyeok also makes nurse Cheon Jang-mi and anesthesiologist resident Park Gyeong-won part of this new team. He then takes on the mission to make this trauma team an important part of the hospital and takes his team to go out into the field to save lives. However, it isn’t as easy as it looks because hospital politics and financial troubles faced by the hospital aren’t easy to tackle.

Will Gang-hyeok be able to run his team as smoothly as he wishes? How will he tackle the conflicts that arise? Will this new team be able to change the way the Trauma team is looked at?
