Bigg Boss 18 has come to an end and fans cannot stop talking about the winner this season as they take over X (formerly known as Twitter). Facing an intriguing and tough competition this season, Karan Veer Mehra left fans cheering as he was announced the winner. Bigg Boss is an Indian reality show based on the Dutch reality show Big Brother. Produced by Endemol Shine India (now merged with Banijay) the show has contestants called “housemates” who live together in a house that is specially constructed and isolated from the outside world. These housemates are then voted out one by one each week until one remains and wins the cash prize. During this time, the contestants are all monitored continuously through personal cameras and microphones.
Since its release in 2004, audiences have been loving the show each season which has resulted in the latest 18th season. With various themes and intriguing guests taking over each season, while Bollywood superstar Salman Khan hosts the show, Bigg Boss has seen widespread popularity in the Indian television industry. Bigg Boss 18, also called Time Ka Tandav where contestants from the past, present and future took part, premiered on October 6th, 2024.
This season saw some very interesting contestants, making it one of the most remarkable seasons of the show. The 23 contestants namely- Karan Veer, Vivian, Rajat, Avinash, Chum, Eisha, Shilpa, Chaahat, Shrutika, Kashish, Sara, Edin, Yamini, Digvijay, Tajinder, Aditi, Alice, Afreen, Shehzada, Nyrraa, Muskan, Hema, and Gunratan.
