The plot of the story revolves around a man whose wife goes missing on his birthday, leaving him in a state of panic and rushing to the police station. However, days later a woman shows up at his door claiming to be his wife and proves it through unshakeable evidence. But he is not ready to accept her and claims she is an imposter; soon, he struggles to look for evidence against her and prove his point.

The plot of the film is undeniably intriguing, but if you are a fan of thrillers then you will know who the real culprit is in the first few minutes of the show. There is no doubt that this may prove to be a bummer, but the way the plot plays out is worth staying till the end. The intricately made plot proves to be a wonderful experience for viewers as it keeps them captivated until the end.

The actors too have brought about a wonderful performance for us as they truly bring out the panic, the restlessness, and the mystery in every scene. The characters are unique and so well made that you will enjoy every moment as it takes you through many twists and turns. And while some facts playing out in this show may prove to be unrealistic, I have liked the way everything has played out.

On the other hand, we know that this is a remake of the 2022 Chinese film Lost in the Stars that plays out a similar plot but with a few changes. While the original is a lot more intense and so much better in many ways when compared to this show. If you have already seen the film then you will recognise the plot by the end of the first episode which could be another letdown for thriller fans. But don’t skip out on this Zee5 show because of this because this version is also able to captivate you until the end.

While the plot holes continue to nag for those who are experts in these fields, the show still proves to be an entertainer. The direction and cinematography have also been well done and we have truly loved every moment of this show. And for a remake, this show has done very well which we have to take some time to appreciate.

I have truly enjoyed the performance put together by Sharib Hashmi and Aamir Dalvi who have proved to be an unexpectedly wonderful duo. Sharib Hashmi’s performance that shows the character’s confusion and panic is on point while Aamir Dalvi’s role as the cop is another charmer to this show. I would really like to read the books written by this cop because the way the story moves makes his character all the more interesting.

Altogether, this show proves to be a good point even after you are able to pinpoint the real culprit behind the whole incident.
