Public Disorder Ending Explained

The Roma 3 Riot Squad is given the green signal to intervene in the protests taking place at Val di Susa, however, things go wrong when the protestors get violent and injure their leader- Pietro. Angered by this, Mazinga gives the squad orders to charge into the crowd which leads to them harming many, among which one is a young man who falls into a coma soon after. This creates a bigger chaos as the protestors demand proper enquiry on the matter, putting the squad in deep trouble.

While Mazinga creates a story and tells everyone to follow what he has reported, Marta feels guilty for her actions but tries her best to hold everything inside. While the enquiry hardly gets any clues against the squad, Marta’s guilt and problems arising from her ex-husband throw her on the edge. Meanwhile, with Pietro gone and the new member Michele Nobili taking his place, chaos erupts within the squad.

Meanwhile, Mazinga also faces problems in his life due to his bad relationship with his son and a forbidden romance building up between him and Pietro’s wife Anna. But he isn’t the only one who is a mess as Nobili’s peaceful life takes a turn when his daughter is sexually assaulted while his bond with his teammates is also facing a rough time. Elsewhere, Salvatore becomes a catfish victim when a woman he spent 6 months online turns out to be a fraud.

With all this on their plate, the squad gathers together for the last time on New Year’s Eve after which they are to face a tougher investigation of the Val di Susa case. While Mazinga assures everyone that he will take on the blame as he was the one who gave the orders to attack, Marta is not sure about this decision.

What Happens to Marta?

After the chaos in the Susa Valley, Marta returns home to find her ex trying to enter her daughter- Agata’s life and slowly trying to get joint custody of her. While Marta is not happy about this because she knows of the violence he causes after getting drunk, she is unable to make her daughter sad. However, she tries to put things in the past when she sees how well he is behaving with Agata and tries to give him a chance.

Until she sees the bandage on her ex’s girlfriend which proves that he hasn’t changed his ways. With no choice left, she approaches his girlfriend along with Agata and makes her tell her daughter what really happened. Agata is heartbroken to know that her father abused her mother in the past and is now doing the same to his girlfriend. While this is heartbreaking for Marta too, she knows she has to do this to get Agata’s complete custody during the lawsuit against her ex as Agata’s opinion will also be taken into consideration.

What Happened to the Boy in a Coma?

While on duty on New Year’s Eve, the squad gets news that the boy has lost his life in the hospital. A video of the boy’s friend sharing the news spreads on the internet at a fast pace, as he demands revenge for his friend. This fuels the fire spreading within the public as riot squads around the country begin to face a tougher time handling the people. As the chaos becomes bigger, even the Roma 3 Squad Unit is not safe as they find the protestors behind them.

What Happens to the Roma 3 Squad Unit?

With the chaos getting bigger, the Roma 3 Squad Unit sees something burning in the distance from where they are patrolling. Nobili takes Mazinga, Marta and Salvatore to check on what is happening when suddenly their vehicle explodes behind them. This shocks them as they rush to check on their teammates. But before they can reach the vehicle, a mob of people dressed in black begins to chase them, leaving them no option but to run away.

Taking the underground route, the four somehow manage to escape the mob when Mazinga finds himself falling due to the sudden chaos. As Marta and Salvatore help bring him out with Nobili leading the way, they face a happier atmosphere outside where fireworks are erupting in the sky. Finally catching a breath, they look back to how things are getting better for them this new year, despite the danger that they have faced.

While this scene ends the show, we see the tough life members of a riot squad face. Caught in the middle of the government and the public, they have no way out. Yet, they look at the brighter side of life despite the chaos around them.
