That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 3 Episode 7 Review and Recap – Hinata Faces Off With Rimuru

Finally, things are going forward in this episode, and we are out of all the meeting rooms to get things done. Today’s episode starts right from the part when we see Hinata travelling towards the Jura Tempest Federation. Here, we get to know that she had no idea that some of her subordinates were going to join her even when she strictly forbade them to come. But they are not accompanying her to create problems, rather they just want to protect her if Rimuru actually wants to fight her.

Their journey leads them to the Blumund Kingdom, where they all become very surprised with what they see. The roads are better, the clothes are modern, everything is flourishing and families are happy. Such a scenario is very surprising, as they did not think a kingdom as small as Blumund would be so advanced. They realise that this is all because of trade relations with the Jura Tempest Federation.

They even come face to face with a Ramen shop where they are stunted to get authentic Tonkatsu ramen, especially Hinata. She quickly becomes enamoured with a dish from her home and even reveals her cute side to her subordinates. They then travel towards Jura Tempest and become impressed with the quality of the road and the arrangement Rimuru has made for the safety of the travellers.

Hinata finally accepts that RImuru is a very good leader who genuinely wants to bond with all the monsters and humans. But she also accepts that she is jealous of how advanced his country is. She still wants to apologise for her past discretion and resolve things with Rimuru, without escalating it to a fight.

However, all her wishes are completely destroyed because of the sinister plans of the Seven Days clergy. Not only are they actively trying to erase Rimuru, but they also want Hinata to go down with him. Because of this, they concoct a great plan which goes extremely perfectly. This is also why, in this episode, we sense a grave misunderstanding that brews between Hinata and Rimuru.

In the next episode, we will see whether things will go towards a positive ending or more problems will arise.

Verdict

This episode was very interesting as the way the misunderstandings come forward proves the brilliant strategy the Seven Days clergy came up with. Rimuru really could not have done anything to counter such a manipulative tactic. But I believe he will take on Hinata properly, and with sheer strength, he will be able to achieve peace.
