A Sign of Affection Episode 12 Review: A Sign of Affection Episode 12 was just a perfect blend of feels and good animation. In the last episode, Yuki and Itsuomi decide to go on a date at a place that Yuki will select.

A Sign of Affection Episode 12 Review and Recap – Special Bonds And Relationships

Yes, I am sad that this gem of an anime is finally ending, but I must admit it ended beautifully. Till now, I’m not sure whether there will be a next season, but even if we don’t get it, you can be sure that our pairs will be together through thick and thin. The episode first starts with Yuki eagerly planning for her date, whose destination will be decided by her for the very first time. She is anxious to select a place because how can you impress someone whose hobby has always been going to new places?
Thus, Yuki feels that she won’t be able to surprise Itsuomi with anything, and hence, after much struggle, she finally settles on going to a flower park with him. The date was just a mesmerising experience not only for the couple but also for the audience. You get lost in the visual beauty, and Yuki’s inner reflection makes you realise just how precious she is.

We get a deep insight into her perspective and witness how she looks upon her lover. She is both fascinated by his handsomeness and smitten by his tenderness. From her point of view, you see just how much she is in love and how tremendously she values Itsuomi.
But just when you think that Yuki is the only one gushing over her partner, you are proven wrong because Itsuomi might not show it that often, but he is as much in love, if not more, than Yuki. His character has always come off as pretty nonchalant and calm, which is why I did not expect him to be so verbal about his deep admiration. He even discloses the reason behind his interest in travel and why he runs off to different countries so much to our heroine.

But it is not just our favourite couple who got their screen time. We see some significant development from other couples as well. Emma properly faces Shin, and Rin also becomes surer of Kyouya’s feelings towards her. Oushi, on the other hand, is confronting his emotions more confidently than ever.
Verdict
I absolutely loved this episode. We still do not have any confirmation that there will be a season 2, but hopefully, we will get a continuation.

Now that this anime is over, I can confidently say those who love romance anime will definitely adore this one. Hence, without wasting any more time than you already have, just go and watch this. If you are single, you might feel major regret that you are missing out on such a love, but you will surely not be disappointed by the plot.
