Koffee With Karan Season 8 Episode 6 Review Contains Mild Spoilers

Karan Johar introduces Rani Mukerjee and Kajol by praising their acting skills and calling them motormouth. He invites the leading ladies of his first movie, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, to the show with grace, but everything becomes hilarious after that. The actresses wanted Karan to get done with his call with Ranveer Singh and start filming the episode. Karan says that they screamed at him, but Kajol says that they didn’t scream; it was highly unprofessional of him to keep them waiting.

The trio reminisces about the days of filming KKHH. From Kajol being kind to him on the first day of shooting to Rani sharing how Karan “hit” her and snatched her food, their conversation leaves a big smile on your face. Karan further goes on to reveal how his late father, Yash Johar, was worried about the money he was spending while directing the first film.

Furthermore, Karan Johar asks them why there was a distance between them in the past, considering they’re also related. Kajol answers that it was an organic distance, and they liked where they were in their career. Rani also agrees that there was distance and shares how they were close as kids, so they did feel the lack of connection. The Mardaani actress further states that the distance also happened after their fathers passed away.

Rani adds that people try to create more differences when there is distance between two people. Karan adds how he saw that happening when he and Kajol weren’t taking for a few years. However, Kajol tells him not to rehash that topic, as that story doesn’t exist anymore. KJo further asks them about their husbands, who are low-key, about being mothers, and how both of them have such great careers with the exciting movies and shows they’re doing.

Koffee With Karan Season 8 Episode 6 Still 2

Koffee With Karan Season 8 Episode 6 takes a nostalgic and fun turn when Karan shows clips of influencers discussing Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Several popular social media celebrities share their theories and thoughts on the film, which makes it one of the most-loved classic love stories. The entire segment makes you laugh out loud, especially Kajol’s reaction to everything.

The episode keeps getting better and better because of the quiz segment and the rapid fire. Seeing both Kajol and Rani have zero clue about their own movies and answering the questions confidently and incorrectly is riotous. The duo were so bad and made Karan laugh so much that his stomach started hurting. Even the Rapid Fire round was a hoot. We finally got to see good questions and interesting answers, and the fire reignited back in the Rapid Fire segment. I won’t reveal who the winner is because both actresses were phenomenal.
