We are currently waiting for The Clearing Episode 5 which will take us almost halfway through the series. With every episode there have been a set of revelations, one always darker than the other, making us wonder what will come our way next.
The Clearing is created by Elise McCredie and Matt Cameron and is based on In the Clearing by J. P. Pomare. The screenplay is adapted from the book by Elise McCredie, Matt Cameron and Osamah Sami. Jeffrey Walker and Gracie Otto serve as the directors for the thriller.
The producer for this series is Jude Troy and the executive producers are McCredie, Cameron and Walker with Richard Finlayson and Elizabeth Bradley. There are a total of eight episodes with the first two episodes out now. The main cast for the series includes Teresa Palmer, Miranda Otto, Guy Pearce and Julia Savage. It also features Hazem Shammas, Kate Mulvany, Xavier Samuel, Anna Lise Phillips, Mark Coles Smith, Harry Greenwood, Erroll Shand, Doris Younane, Claudia Karvan, Miah Madden, Gary Sweet, Alicia Gardiner, Matt Okine, Jeremy Blewitt, Lily La Torre, Ras-Samuel Welda’abzgi, Berlin Lu and Kristof Kaczmarek.
The Clearing Episode 5 Plot Predictions
We saw how Freya was desperately trying to find out about Sara in the last episode. We believe in the upcoming episode, she will continue this pursuit that might not give her pretty answers. There is also Joe’s struggle around Henrik’s confession in the past timeline that needs to be addressed, although it is clear from the present timeline that Henrik goes to prison ultimately for Sara’s disappearance.
Meanwhile, the episode will also show us Dr. Lamtham helping Matriah form The Kindred. It will be an important point in the story to see how Matriah is/was able to build this cult that changed lives.

The fifth episode of The Clearing will arrive on Hulu. It is scheduled to release on June 14, 2023. The episode will have a runtime of approximately 50 minutes.
