Siren Survive the Island Episode 6 to 10 Review: The Women Take It All

Siren Survive the Island has steadily made itself one of the top shows on Netflix currently with the release of only five episodes. Thus, the release of the next five is a big thing for the audience and, we can promptly say that the show’s next few episodes did not disappoint.

In the last episode of the show aka Siren Survive the Island Episode 5, we saw an unlikely team-up between Team Athletes and Team Firefighters, where the former came out victorious in the challenge. We also saw Team Stunt leave the Fire Island as they were defeated and embark on their journey to get the consolation prize in the Deafeated Island. It was a sad thing to see Team Stunt leave as they were the winners of the first challenge in the series and, were also kind of the most isolated ones out of all teams.

Siren Survive the Island Episode 6 started off with the same format as the previous episodes, with the challenges just getting tougher and more thrilling with time. We see how the remaining teams are offered the challenge to secure the place to control the siren on the island- the traditional Greek figure present on the island which has been responsible for giving task-related information to the teams.

The intensity of the game show just goes up a notch when we reach episode seven and find one team controlling the siren and, in turn having a great advantage over the other teams. Needless to say, challenges keep coming the contestants’ way for them to be on the top.

Meanwhile, the new episodes also made us privy to the redemption challenge taken up by the defeated teams on the other island. As the name suggests, the redemption challenge means that the team winning this one would get a chance to come back to Fire Island and continue their journey for the big prize at the end.

Siren Survive the Island: Final Verdict

From double elimination to the redemption arc, Siren Survive the Island Episode 6 to 10 really does everything it can to make the show more engaging. It is understandable why Netflix decided to release the second half of the series later as it becomes very fierce and competitive at the end.

Teamwork and communication continue to be the core of the show and the contestants are charming as always to pull us in this world of fire and fighting. Overall, the second part was as thrilling as the first one if not more.

    • It was Team Athletes at the end as they got all the bases at the end. However, why the fire works went off still remains a confusion but, possibly hinting at season two mayeb.
