Saas Bahu Aur Flamingo Twitter Review: Dimple Kapadia’s Explosive Performance and Action Scenes Pique Interest

On May 5, 2023, Disney+ Hotstar released its latest Hindi action thriller series starring Dimple Kapadia, Radhika Madan, Deepak Dobriyal, Angira Dhar, Isha Talwar and others, and the Saas Bahu Aur Flamingo Twitter reviews for the same have recorded the audience’s reception of it. Created and directed by Homi Adajania, the series has been written by Saurav Dey, Nandini Gupta and Aman Mannan, while the dialogues have been penned by Karan Vyas and Dinesh Vijan has produced it under the banner of Maddock Films.

The Hotstar Specials original series’ ensemble cast is led by a group of women living in the village Hastipur where the matriarch Savitri aka Rani Baa (Kapadia), runs her business under the name Rani Cooperative, trading various products like herbs, balms and more. But, of course, things aren’t as clear as crystal under her roof, as her rather humble business is just a cover-up for the biggest South Asian drug cartel, with Rani Baa steering the wheel all along.

Power politics is a major theme in the series, as the zealous desire for it drives each character ahead, and Kapadia fronts the race with her impeccable delivery. While others sometimes slip to give their best to the roles, Kapadia’s portrayal of Rani Baa has left the audience in awe of her, proving that age is but a number for the veteran actress in the entertainment biz.

Many viewers have disparaged the storytelling tactics of the series, especially driving their attention to the first few episodes, which were considered a major let down by some. Yet, others stuck around for Dimple Kapadia and the eventual tumultuous emotional rollercoaster that was reeled into the show. The viewers have also recognised Radhika Madan’s potential as a rising actor in the industry.
