Jackson Wang has been the talk of the town after his alluring performance at Coachella 2023, along with dancers and Ciara, the pop queen of America. Just when fans were speculating something interesting, Team Wang released Slow MV featuring Ciara (previously the lyrics video came out), and fans couldn’t hold their excitement. Jackson Wang has always been known as an amazing rapper and dancer. However, in recent days, he has been exploring his vocal capacities.
Proving that he is a multi-talented folk, his smooth vocals with Ciara in the song Slow is something none expected. Here’s a detailed look into the music video and the stunning lyrics.
Slow MV: Ciara in Pink and Jackson in Blue, Sing Smoothly About Sexual Tension
It’s not a new thing to listen to songs about sex. But only a few tracks tend to stay in hearts, thanks to their non-explicit and passionate lyrics. Falling in the latter category, Jackson and Ciara’s new track has set the standards. Ciara starts the song with her iconic Light-Lyric Mezzo Soprano Voice singing the lyrics,

Take it slowly
You gotta pace yourself,
It’s me and you only
I don’t want nobody else
But you gotta take it easy
These lines are more than enough to drop the statement that the next few bars are going to be filled with passionate lines about intimacy. The best part is Ciara keeps dancing with the backup dancers while also flawlessly nailing the lyrics. After her hit song Level-Up and the dance trend she set, seeing her give the R&B vibe is a blessing to the eyes.
Now coming to Jackson Wang, his intro into the song was spot on with the verses, “Ain’t no rush, Only us, skin to skin, baby“, it was unbelievable. After years and years of listening to Jackson’s raspy rap voice, it’s amazing to see how great his vocals skills have developed. His pitch matched perfectly with that of Ciara’s. His lyrics are extremely intimate, and that’s what we’re talking about.

It’s nice to see Jackson stepping away from his zone and covering all types of song genres. Recently, he also dropped a song called Cheetah, where he grooved to tribal music. Right away, when the audience got to witness his sultry voice in Slow MV, it was understood that this man is highly talented.

Costumes and Set Design
Whoever styled the artists and the backup dancers need a raise. Ciara in a Pink long coat, bikini top, and wide-legged pants with a blonde bob-cut is a standard for sure. Coming to Jackson, dressing him up all in a Blue satin costume with coolers on totally made him look whipped.
Their colour combination went excellently with the backup dancers, who were all dressed in white. The set was a simple wide white room with lights coming from all directions. The cinematography and editing were neat, and the cut to show Jackson Wang after Ciara was well done. Overall, the MV looked pleasing to watch.

Dance Choreography
Since both Ciara and Jackson Wang are known to have excellent dancing skills, Slow‘s choreography was smooth and accurate for the song. When the chorus comes, we can see Ciara and Jackson swinging side to side with the rhythm. While they’re seen lip-syncing to the vocals, the backup dancers were making moves that went along with the beats. It was wonderful to see both the artists joining the dancers and giving out a full-package song.
Final Thoughts
Overall, the song is a game-changer. It’s nice to see the duo performing together in a sexual song that’s sung and conveyed appropriately. Ciara calling Jackson “daddy” is something we all won’t forget. Their vocals, dance, lyrics, visuals, etc, everything made the MV appalling.
