Samir finally makes contact with Myriam and informs her that he is currently in Dunkirk. On the other hand, Albert meets Alison and confronts her about meeting Gabriel in the hospital; however, she denies everything. Later, Gabriel, Myriam and Alison head out to Dunkirk. Meanwhile, another attack takes place in Britain, and this time involving an airplane. The air traffic control lost communication with the pilots. The pilots were unable to take control of the plane as it was hacked. But somehow, they are able to regain control before any major accident occurs. It is then revealed that Anthrop, a private cyber security company is behind the attacks because they want the British government to sign an agreement with them.

An anonymous package reaches Alison’s father, which contains a DVD. The video vaguely shows snippets of Alison and Gabriel in a protest years ago. The protest goes south when a girl meets with an accident. Furious, Alison’s father tries to hand Samir over to the authorities, but she reveals that the one in their house is not the actual Samir. The one residing in the bunker was a decoy, and the actual Samir is kept in a safe house along with Myriam.

Several attackers arrive, and Alison’s father confronts them. Despite Gabriel and Alison’s pleas to step away, he remains determined to face the intruders, but ultimately, they kill him. Gabriel puts Alison inside the underground bunker along with the decoy and locks them. The episode ends on that note.

Liaison Episode 4 Review

A little insight into the past lives of Alison and Gabriel is shown, which will give the audience some clarity. Their relationship dynamic and their past is crucial to the story. However, we are still in the dark about many things. The motive behind certain actions is still not revealed, and the audience is left in the dark. There is also not much progression in the story. The twists and turns are predictable and fail to surprise the viewers in the slightest.

Vincent Cassel and Eva Green are a sight to behold as the actors display phenomenal chemistry and maintain the enigmatic ambience surrounding their characters.
