MasterChef India Season 7 Episode 53 is hosted by Vikas Khanna, Ranveer Brar and joined by Garima Arora as a judge on the show, the seventh instalment of the series has been produced by Endemol Shine India and directed by Neeraj Shetty. The latest episode, titled ‘Honouring the Dabbawalas’, that premiered on March 15, 2023, at 9PM IST, had the home cooks serving a special groups of guest – the Dabbawalas of Mumbai.
The cooking competition show is a nationwide quest to find the best ‘home cook’ and draws out some of the most brilliant chefs from across India. The judges sample recipes from various cuisines that the contestants prepare in their search for India’s ‘MasterChef’. And after going through many challenges, one will win the grand prize and the titles.
For this new challenge, that eventually turned into a privilege for the contestants, they were granted the opportunity to serve the those people who’ve been in turn serving all people of Mumbai for over a century. From getting home-cooked meals delivered to workers from all sides of city, while making the whole thing easy, these special guests are truly the running fuel of Mumbai, whose dedicated knows no bounds.
So, for a heart-warming change, the set of MasterChef India not only invites them to pay them gratitude and respect, but also to get their valued opinions on the food prepared by the home cooks in the race to become the ‘Master Chef’ of the nation.
Fans have noticed how today’s episode saw the judges applauding a new set of contestants as opposed to their usual favourites being praised for their efforts. However, following their old habits, their preferences soon took over once again, depicting that their stances are biased, as the viewers have pointed out on countless occasions. Audiences earnestly wished for the judges to critically analyse the dishes that severely needed their constructive criticism, but their choices haven’t appeased the viewers today either.

I think some favouritism is going on to one contestant. Mrs Kamaldeep is given ticket to finale too early. So that she need not want to cook till the final episode
