Jeon Do-yeon can do it all – heartfelt romance in Crash Course in Romance, and action kills in her upcoming Netflix movie as seen in the Kill Boksoon previews. While the early screenings of the show at the 73rd Berlin International Film Festival World Premiere have already generated quite a lot of buzz, the film will only be available to stream for international audiences in March, 2023. The Swoon, i.e. the Korean subsidiary of Netflix, has put out a bunch of new stills for the crime action film that sees the actress struggling to strike a work-life balance.
With one hand holding on to groceries and the other clutching a lethal weapon, the original poster of the film vividly illustrates her character sketch. Even the title of the movie is a play on Do-yeon’s character name – Gil Bok-soon.
Leading the charge as a well-known hired assassin in market, Boksoon does it all. And while shedding someone’s blood is a task that’s up her alley, but not so much being a single mother. The previews released earlier today display her in a vibrant light when she’s carrying the grocery bag as a mother, and though they don’t yet reveal her to convening with the counterparts of the contract killing industry, the following pictures evidently exhibit a high-tension ambiance that ends on a bloody note for some characters.
Alongside the titular lead, Sol Kyung-gu, Esom, Koo Kyo-hwan, Kim Si-a and more can also be spotted in these ten photos. The pictures also define the mercenary scene with more characters getting tangled up with each other.

Conversely, Kim Si-a’s previews from the film (portrays the role of Boksoon’s daughter) provide a contrasting look to the gory, blood-stained and crime-driven path adopted by her mother, who in the earlier trailer releases was shown feeling astonished herself as to how she could lead such a life despite being a mother. On being asked by her acquaintances about her profession, she lies about working for an Event Planning Company.
