The Fabulous (더 패뷸러스) is an upcoming K-drama about the glamour and struggles in the fashion industry. Directed by Kim Jung-hyun and written by Kim Ji-Hee, Im Jin-Sun, the new show will premiere on Netflix. The series will consist of 8 episodes with a total runtime of approximately 50 minutes each.
The series was originally scheduled to release on November 4, 2022, on Netflix but was delayed out of respect for the victims of the Itaewon tragedy and the mourning period announced by the government of South Korea.
The Fabulous Cast
Choi Min-ho from SHINee will take up the role of Ji Woo-min, the lead character of the series, and Chae Soo-Bin will take up the role of Pyo Ji-eun, the lead female character.
Other supporting and recurring cast includes Lee Sang-un as Joseph, Park Hee-jung as Ye Sun-ho, Kim Min-kyu as Sim Do-young, Shin Dong-mi as CEO Oh, Lee Mi-do as Hong Ji-sun, Choi Hee-jin as An Nam-hee, Jeon Soo-kyeong as Jang Ok-jin, Lim Ki-hong as Thierry Henry, Choi Won-myeong as Lee Nam-jin, and Lee Si-woo as Esther, Kwon Hae-sung, and Ye Soo-jung.

The Fabulous Plot/Synopsis
The official Netflix description of the series reads as follows:
Four best friends chase their dreams in the competitive world of fashion while juggling demanding jobs, romantic dilemmas and wild nights on the town.
The story revolves around four friends struggling and chasing their dreams in the cut-throat fashion industry. It will showcase the lives of aspiring adults struggling to survive and make a name for themselves. Along with the main plotline, we can also expect a blooming romance between the main characters.
Ji Woo-min, the lead character, is a freelance retoucher who has lost passion for his work and life. His job is to retouch and improve the photographs taken for magazines and other advertisement projects, but he does not seem to care about his high-paying work anymore.
Meanwhile, Pyo Ji-eun, the female counterpart, has dreamed of working in the fashion industry since childhood. Through vigorous struggles and hard work, she gained a prominent position as the section chief of a luxury brand promotion agency. She continues to maintain a positive outlook on life even though she faces many difficulties.
