Moving In With Malaika Episode 10 Review: Catching Up With Friends in a Game Night

Moving in With Malaika Episode 10 premiered on December 20, 2022, with a runtime of approximately 20 minutes. The brand new reality show will centre around actress, model, dancer and VJ Malaika Arora. Created by Malaika herself, along with Banijay Asia, the show will give us an exclusive and up-close look at the life of the Indian celebrity.

The actress rose to fame for her appearance in the famous Bollywood song Chaiyyan Chaiyyan from the movie Dil Se.. along with Shah Rukh Khan. She has been in the public eye ever since, and her divorce from Arbaaz Khan, brother of Salmaan Khan, is one of the most talked about instances around the town. She has also been a victim of internet trolls following her dating news with Arjun Kapoor.

Hence, she has decided to take matters into her own hands and create a show that will show her true self.

Disney+ Hotstar description of the show reads:

ALL SET TO SHOWCASE HER TRUE SELF, MALAIKA WILL SHUT DOWN TROLLS IN HER QUINTESSENTIAL ARORA STYLE AS SHE OPENS UP ABOUT HER LIFE

Moving In With Malaika Episode 10: Not All is Fair in Love and Games

Malaika hosts a game night in her house and invites her close friends over, leading to fun and some dramatic moments. Actress Aditi Govitrikar, fashion designer Vikram Phadnis, Delnaz Daruwala and her cousin Vinay Bijlani and his wife joined the game night.

The group of friends together were having a fun night and sharing gossip. They were also playing various games, leading to some funny and interesting moments. Each of them was making fun of the other, as friends usually do. In this episode, Malaika was looking more casual and comfortable compared to the previous ones.

But as they were having conversations and playing games, Malaika shared that something had been bothering her for a long time. She reveals that she was hurt by the lack of presence from her very close friend, Vikram, at the stand-up show. But he instantly dismisses her complaints, making her feelings invalidated.

Then the entire group joined the conversation to make Vikram realise why Malaika was upset by the situation. Both friends had a short conversation on the topic alone to clarify misunderstandings. The added dramatics to keep the episode interesting did feel forced. Turning a trivial situation among adults into a bigger situation was not needed.

After the entire ordeal, the group of friends proceeded to go out for dinner, and the episode ended on that note.

Moving In With Malaika Episode 10: Final Thoughts

This episode was hilarious, to say the least. It was fun and light-hearted, which should have been kept that way instead of the forced drama. It is laughable to witness that a couple of adults are fighting over an attendance situation, especially those who work in the fashion and film industry and are known to remain busy at the most obscure time of the day.

Nevertheless, the audience will get a closer look at Malaika’s dynamic with her friends, which we rarely witness on television. It can also be noticed that Malaika is opening up and showing her genuine personality one episode at a time. As usual, the celebrity looked stylish in her trendy outfits, even at home.
