García! Episode 5 Review
The latest episode of the enthralling spy drama series starts with Garcia, who ends up behind the bars, as a result of some law-breaking action in the previous instalment. It also delves into the past (probably for the final time) to provide full context related to section nine and Ortiz’s betrayal.
The young journalist Antonia, becomes hyperactive in the show, after unravelling the truth behind section nine and their murderous intentions. She also finds the tracking bug inside her ring with the help of the handy inventor, and plants another chip on Ortiz, to stay one step ahead of his plans.
Eventually, it all leads to a breathtaking rescue mission, to prevent Garcia from section nine’s goons, who are hell-bent on giving a hard time to the super spy. Furthermore, it is also revealed that Garcia doesn’t need protection from the low-level thugs but from someone equally powerful and deadly. What happens next, will leave you in all anticipation for the season finale.
So far, the Spanish thriller has shown all elements of a pitch-perfect show and also met my high expectations. In fact, just when I could have pointed out some flaws with the series, it ended on a season-best cliffhanger. Which just makes me curious about the future of Garcia.

The show is also pretty high in terms of politics and makes sure to establish the core point. For instance, the entire socialist and fascist dynamic represents the thought process of the characters, including the spy who decides to end up on the right side of 21st-century history.
All in all, the episode works as the perfect gateway to the season finale and leaves us with some important questions. Moreover, it also makes use of the maximum number of characters, to add fuel to the fire of revenge.
García! Episode 5: Final Thoughts
