The fifth season will shake things up and welcome an entirely refurbished set of cast members with Imelda Staunton playing Queen Elizabeth II, Jonathan Pryce as Prince Philip, Lesley Manville as Princess Margaret, Elizabeth Debicki as Princess Diana, Dominic West as Prince Charles, Jonny Lee Miller as John Major, Flora Montgomery as Norma Major, Olivia Williams as Camilla Parker Bowles and more.

The Crown Season 5 Plot/Storyline

Jumping straight into the 1990s, the new season will feature the new era of the royal family as we head toward the storyline featuring the divorce between the Prince and Princess of Wales, with the latter claiming that she “won’t go quietly”. This particular era also led to the family’s booming popularity with ‘War of the Wales’ at the focus. However, one must take all the dramatization with a pinch of salt due to the many fictional digressions that have compelled real-life royalty members to express their distaste for the same.
