The Secret of the Greco Family (El Secreto de la Familia Greco) is an upcoming Mexican crime drama series on Netflix. The series is inspired by the history of the Clan Puccio in Argentina and adapts the series Historia de un Clan into a 9-part mini-series. It is produced by Telemundo Streaming Studios and Underground Producciones.
The show will recreate the 1980s-era setting, which is filmed between Argentina and Mexico and is directed by Alejandro Ciancio. It is created by Luis and Sebastián Ortega, along with executive producer Pablo Culell.

The Secret of the Greco Family Plot/Synopsis
The official synopsis of the series reads, “A seemingly perfect family secretly kidnaps wealthy people for ransom in order to maintain their high standard of living and social status. Based on a true story.” The story focuses on the Greco family members, who under the facade of being a traditional family hide a clan of criminals who kidnap, torture and murder their victims if they do not get the ransom they ask for.
The family consists of four children – Darío, Sabrina, Abril, and Andrés, – the exemplary son. The Greco family get affected by a strong economic crisis that leaves the family business battered, forcing them to become dangerous criminals who don’t hesitate to resort to their murderous instincts to maintain their status.
To fulfil their desire to belong in the elite rich social circles leads Fernando Colunga, the head of the family to become the master of deception, and that will allow him to lead a double life that few will know, is the start of a series of events that will be marked by horror.
