Popular Netflix shows Never Have I Ever, is a show about a first-generation Indian American Teenager, who wants to have a swift year at high school, and faces different challenges from friends, family, and her own feelings. The show is created by Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher and features multiple Indian culture references in different episodes. This one in particular is about the nuances of Pooja and celebration in Hindu festivals.

4. Dwight Pitch Perfect Diwali Explanation
Before Michal’s epic Diwali song, there was Dwight’s classic definition of Diwali. In this clip from Season 3 Episode 6, the German descendant Schrute King tells about the complete meaning of the festival. The Assistant to the General Manager goes on to explain that Diwali was celebrated after King Rama ends the Evil Ravana, and returns to his kingdom after completing 14 years in exile.
