Chef’s Table Pizza: Here’s When You Can Relish on the Netflix Food Series

For chefs, their food is a medium of expressing their emotions, and their art, and Chef’s Table Pizza takes a tour around the world to steal a piece of that art i.e. pizza.

Netflix presents a brand new rendition of the Emmy-winning Chef’s Table series which has all to do with pizza. Executive producer Brian McGinn too views pizza as a “blank canvas” whereupon a chef is free to express their creativity and self.

The upcoming documentary series will serve as a testament that pizza goes beyond just spreading tomato sauce and cheese on the dough. The trailer leaves us with the idea that “Pizza is an art. Pizza is important”, and as minuscule, as it may seem to most of us, it sure isn’t for the six chefs who will be creating art on our screen in a few days.

Chef’s Table Pizza Plot/Synopsis

The official Netflix synopsis reads:

“Dig into the best pizzas from around the world, prepared by renowned chefs who bake passion, creativity, and hard work into every slice. Watch all you want.”

All through the course of the trailer of the documentary series, each chef takes us through the thought process that goes behind their versions of pizza. While one sees it as a revolution, the other finds their own voice and shares a piece of themself through their preparation of it.

The show is likely to go beyond and also show that food brings people together irrespective of where they live.

While most of them find their voice through their recipes of pizza, they’re also tied down to it for survival, not as much financially as much as they are emotionally.

Chef’s Table Pizza depicts their unfiltered struggles with everything and how even if like knocked them down, making pizza is the only safe place they have in the world. There are also a few who wanted to quit the process and hang up their aprons. However, they couldn’t give it up because they believed that success was their only way to redemption.

As mentioned earlier, the show markedly points out, as one of the chefs also declares that “pizza is more than tomato sauce and melted cheese”. It’s their tool to not only create and express but also to live and bring their community together.
