Today’s Webtoon (오늘의 웹툰) is a 2022 Korean Coming-of-age Drama based on a Japanese Manga named Juhan Shuttai! by Naoko Matsuda. The series features Kim Se-jeong, Choi Daniel and Nam Yoon-su in leading roles. The series runs for 16 episodes and Today’s Webtoon Episode 12 has a runtime of 62 minutes.

In Today’s Webtoon Episode 12, Gu Jun-yeong finds his way back to the NEON webtoon service team after he goes through his sister’s belongings and understands how much she cherished webtoons and also her team. Ma-eum has been of great support to him and he has started to realize that he has been developing feelings for her. He gets jealous when he sees Ji-hyung and Ma-eum together in the morning, drinking the same coffee.

Jun-yeong has already lost director Heo’s favour after he told him that he would have to think before giving him the data. However, he still wants to meet Heo and talk to him about the same. Jun-yeong doesn’t want the webtoon team to vanish and he seems to have some plan on his mind. Heo finally agrees to meet him after Jun-yeong called him multiple times. Jun-yeong brings him the data but Heo refuses to accept it because he doesn’t need it anymore. Jun-yeong asks Heo for one more chance and Heo accepts the data from him.
The CEO of NEON has shown her support to Jang Man-chul and tells him to use NEON’s service to leverage his offers and save his team. To get a good grip on their proposals, Jang Man-chul approaches Artist Moh who used to work with GingerToon. He works with YoungToon now and brings them good revenue. Man-chul needs Artist Moh because he knows that Heo is in the process to acquire YoungToon and he informs his team about the same.

All of the producers have been working under stress to keep up their work and increase revenue from the artists. Ma-eum has been given the task to convince Artist Na to make long series for NEON instead of YoungToon. She meets Artist Pomee with Jun-yeong and ends up catching her stalker. Even in all the chaos, good news comes to NEON. A producer wants to make Dae-ryuk’s Weapon Feeb into a web drama and Dae-ryuk only gives his permission because he doesn’t want to see sad.
Today’s Webtoon Episode 12 Ending
Ma-eum has been disturbed because of the current situation at NEON and Jun-yeong cannot see her like that. He joins director Heo for dinner who also brings YoungToon’s CEO with him. Jun-yeong thinks he can fool Heo but he is one step ahead of him. He tells Jun-yeong that there will be a surprise for the webtoon team tomorrow. Ma-eum sees Jun-yeong coming out of a restaurant with director Heo but she doesn’t say anything to him. The next day, an article releases that Director Heo is planning for aggressive acquisition of many content companies like YoungToon.
The news article has a negative impact on the webtoon team as artist Moh doesn’t proceed with the offer and calls Jang Man-chul deceptive. All the artists start calling their producers to know the truth. Ma-eum follows Jun-yeong when he leaves the office after a phone call. Man-chul had seen Jun-yeong with Heo and suspects that Jun-yeong reports his team’s progress to him. Ma-eum again sees Jun-yeong with Heo and now, Jun-yeong needs to give an explanation or he will have to take the blame for the webtoon team’s downfall.
Today’s Webtoon Episode 12 Review
Today’s Webtoon Episode 12 shows four men admiring Ma-eum secretly and her, not having an idea about it at all. Jun-yeong has been trying to do good for his team but he is dealing with an experienced con who can bring him down easily. He has got himself into a mess difficult to get out of.
