Echoes Plot/Synopsis

The official synopsis of the series reads, “Identical twins Leni and Gina have secretly switched places for years. But when one sister disappears, both of their lives start to fall apart.” It is a mystery thriller about two identical twins, Leni and Gina, who share a dangerous secret.

Since they were children, Leni and Gina have secretly swapped lives, culminating in a double life as adults – they share two homes, two husbands, and a child but everything in their perfectly choreographed world is thrown into disarray when one of the sisters goes missing.

The trailer shows the twins wishing each other happy birthday, as they count another year together. But before that, Leni asks Gina if there’s something that she’s not telling her and Gina says, there’s nothing. Followed by the scene where she gets to know that Leni is missing. From discovering a dead horse to blood on another, Gina is trying to fit the puzzle.

Police suspect that there might be some secrets in the family and Gina might be hiding something, while we get some quick glimpses from their childhood. It ends with a burning car and the background voice of Gina saying, “You’ve got to fix this, Leni. What have you done?” Could Gina be behind all this or is there something more that can meet the eye?
