I Am A Killer Season 3 First Look: Netflix True-Crime Show Is Back With More Gruesome Stories

I Am A Killer Season 3 is an upcoming British true-crime documentary series on Netflix. While the last season was released in 2020, the announcement of Season 3 came after 2 years in July. Soon after the first look of the series has been released on 3rd August 2022. The series received public acclaim and attention leading to its renewal.

It examines the cases of prisoners convicted of murder, either sentenced to death or destined to spend the remainder of their lives behind bars. Each episode explores the crimes in question through unflinchingly intimate interviews with the men and women who committed them.

Prosecutors, defence attorneys, investigators, friends and relatives of the victims and convicted felons offer their perspectives on the tragic events and the players involved. New facts emerge, previously hidden motives are discovered, rare glimpses of humanity are revealed and strange twists of the United States legal system are exposed.

Some victims loved ones offer forgiveness while others demand retribution. First-person killer testimonies, insider access into the prison system and exceptional contributors present an unparalleled insight into the minds and motivations of these real-life murderers.

The synopsis of the series reads, “While serving hard time for murder, inmates recount their crimes and reflect on how their actions destroyed lives — including their own.” In the released first look, we are introduced to an inmate who is telling about what happened on the night of the crime.

She says that she went to the kitchen to grab a pack of cigarettes but instead picked up a pistol. And something in her head told her to shoot the man named Chris sleeping on the couch. Teary-eyed she tells the camera that’s all that she remembers and it is cut to glimpses of other inmates who will be featured in the series.
